Tactical Handgun Shooting: The Ultimate Defensive Training for Life-or-Death Situations

This intensive training is not for the faint of heart or people who are not serious about learning how to use their handgun to save themselves or others. Whether you’re a seasoned shooter or just starting out and are serious about training, we invite you to join us for three intense days of daylight and evening training in a stunning location sponsored by LionHeart International Services Group WWW.LHISG.COM. The instructors for this course are experienced, seasoned, and passionate trainers from U.S. Special Forces, U.S. Secret Service, and the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. Every aspect of your training, from accommodation and meals to firearms training, is carefully planned and designed to ensure that you are ready for the realities of life-or-death situations where legal use of force may be required.

During the day, you’ll be rigorously tested on the fundamentals of shooting, as well as advanced techniques such as reloading, malfunction clearance, cover and concealment, shooting from various positions, moving while shooting, one-handed firearm manipulation, and reduced light/flashlight techniques. No two days will be the same as you face new and increasingly challenging drills on the 12-point firing range on the property. On onsite cook will ensure your do not go hungry by providing high quality meals, snacks, and drinks daily.

As the sun sets, the real test begins. With MILO Training, you’ll find yourself in simulated life-or-death scenarios, including active shooter situations, burglaries, confrontations with disorderly or intoxicated individuals, and domestic disturbances. The MILO system provides a highly realistic and high-stress training environment, where you can put your newly acquired skills to the test and hone your decision-making and tactical judgment under extreme pressure. Instructors

Tim Miller (LionHeart President)

Tim Miller is a 30-year law enforcement and military professional. As a Secret Service Special agent assigned to the Washington Field Office, Tim coordinated all aspects of security for the President, Vice-President, and foreign heads of state on a regular basis. His extensive background includes leadership roles in Homeland Security, law enforcement and the Marine Corps. Tim is a USSS trained firearms instructor and led the firearms training program as the National Firearms Training Director for his agency. Tim also served in Marine Corps Counterintelligence and deployed with Marines throughout the world for force protection. Tim retired from the Marine Corps Reserve as a LtCol and currently provides security consultation and training on a wide range of security issues as part of the LionHeart team.

Jesse King

Jessie King is a former Marine and Sheriff’s Deputy with extensive experience in firearms training including a Marine Pistol and Rifle Instructor, a former SWAT Team sniper, a K-9 Unit member and former Captain of the department’s Pistol Team. Jessie has also served as a Narcotics Unit and Patrol Supervisor. Jessie currently serves as a lead firearms instructor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center where in addition to training Federal Agents and Officers in basic and advanced firearms he also instructs and qualifies firearms instructors to tactically train the law enforcement officers from their respective agencies. Jessie is also an accomplished competitive shooter and has a passion to train and equip others in developing and growing their firearms proficiency.

LOGISTICS/REQUIREMENTS:

COST: The cost of the training, room, board, and all meals is $3,000. This does NOT include travel or ammo; ammo can be pre-shipped to the location to avoid having to bring it with you during travel. Approximately 2000 rounds of ammo are needed for this training.

GENERAL INFO:

*Students can arrive after 12:00 on Thursday June 1 st and must depart by 11:00 on Monday June 5

*Dinner is provided on Thursday June 1 st and Breakfast is provided on Monday June 5 th

*Training begins daily at 08:30 and ends around 21:30

*This course is NOT for people who have purchased a handgun but have not had any previous training as this training is designed to enhance and grow existing firearms skills

*This training requires full physical mobility and is designed to test a student’s ability to perform under physical and emotional stress. People with significant medical limitations should be cleared by their physicians prior to attending

* SAFETY IS THE FIRST PRIORITY for all training conducted by LionHeart and as such students must agree to practice safe gun range protocols and immediately obey all instructions from the range safety instructors assigned. Failure to do so may result in your dismissal from the range.
