Clyde Roark
Director of Cyber Strategy and Resilience
Clyde Roark brings over two decades of elite cybersecurity leadership spanning federal defense, industrial control systems, and critical infrastructure protection. As Cybersecurity Advisor for Region 4 at the Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), he leads resilience-building initiatives across eight southeastern states, including high-risk Gulf Coast sectors. Clyde partners with key stakeholders in government and enterprise environments to safeguard assets vital to national security and economic continuity.
Before his current role, Clyde served as Section Chief for Federal Network Defense and Detection Operations, and as Deputy Section Chief of Threat Hunting for Industrial Control Systems. His operational acumen was honed through advanced technical and management roles with the U.S. Army Network Technology Command, where he served as Senior Information Systems Engineer and Deputy Program Manager, driving cyber innovation across military networks.
Clyde’s cyber journey began in the United States Navy, where he served as an Aviation Boatswain Mate. Following active duty, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from Old Dominion University, and was later commissioned as an officer in the Navy Reserves. He currently serves as Operations Department Head for Navy Information Operations Command Pensacola-Georgia, holding the rank of Lieutenant Commander.
With a portfolio of military and industry certifications and multiple awards for operational excellence, Clyde blends tactical insight with strategic execution—making him a trusted leader for Fortune 500 firms seeking to enhance cyber posture, secure operational technology, and align cybersecurity with business resilience.
